Description:

Part four of the P.I.E.C.E.S. of my Relationship toolkit. P.I.E.C.E.S is a framework focused on identifying unmet physical, intellectual, emotional needs and how they relate to someone's capabilities, environment, and social history. This document lists culturally safe questions for families to answer about their loved one with dementia. Culturally safe care is when the method of care given is adapted to the cultural context of the person seeking care. It presents five sections with questions developed with Indigenous worldviews in mind.
